It all started in January 2003, a small group headed to the boat show........after a few drinks the trip home wasn't so safe. After some thought and planning the "bus trip" was created!! Now on our third year of bussing into the McCormick Place, its an annual event anticipated by many.....
This year, 2006, we took a coach bus that seats 50-55 people comfortably. Drinks and snacks were provided on the bus for all to enjoy. The cards and dice started flying as soon as the bus was rolling and the raffles began.....with a full payout, none of the 50/50 stuff!!
We definately had fun this year! With drinks flying the minute we got on the bus, everyone was ready to party!! This year, unlike previous years, we were dropped off and picked up at the door. No wandering through the parking lot and jumpin' in front of Metra trains this time. Everything was smooth....uuhh....except for the bus driver, he needed a little more time behind the wheel.
For those who didnt make it this year, well........we might do it again in 2007!
